Hey! I’m Jake — filmmaker, storyteller, and the eyes behind Delicate Films.
I’ve always been drawn to the quiet beauty in people’s stories — the looks, the laughter, the unsaid moments that speak louder than words. Wedding filmmaking, for me, is about capturing all of that in a way that feels honest and lasting.
Your wedding isn’t just an event — it’s a collection of personal histories, inside jokes, family traditions, and the kind of emotion you can’t quite put into words. My goal is to take all of that and shape it into a film that feels like you — not just a highlight reel, but a real reflection of your day, your people, and the connection you share.
I’ve been filming weddings and telling stories for over five years now, and what I love most hasn’t changed: getting to know people and giving them something they’ll want to revisit forever. I’m not there to direct or stage — I’m there to quietly observe, document, and create something that feels true to your story.

My husband and I got married 10/22/22 and couldn't recommend DCP/Delicate Films enough. DCP was one of our main vendors providing the DJ/MC service, videographer, indoor and outdoor lighting and outdoor heaters! Jake was our videographer and was extremely professional. He made sure to capture the moments we wanted, but also had a list of ideas to make sure he captured our entire day.

Would HIGHLY recommend Jake and Delicate Films. He was wonderful to work with - very responsive, easy to get along with, and excited to share our day with us.
